The Mill Inn - Mungrisdale

This place was just what we needed, would recommend. The hotel was what we enjoyed during new year. Our immaculate and cosy room was equipped with the bedroom, all the usual amenities and lovely views. The food was delightful, had plenty of options.

The staff were all hospitable. It was in a secluded setting to shops go for meals at night etc.

i booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, climate control, multi-channel television, and tea/coffee making equipment. the hotel was in a great and lovely location close enough to the restaurant, other areas, and castlerigg stone circle.

It was just a great match for a brief hiatus in Penrith with fantastic value. The home-cooked food we tried, particularly the lamb shank, was quite a nice experience. Consider checking if the meals are genuinely homemade before ordering.

A recent visit highlighted the tasteful refurbishment of the downstairs bar and restaurant. The staff were friendly and cute. The food was so good, particularly the delicious pies at dinner. The room was comfortable and met all our needs.

We loved the amazing food and warm vibe. The staff were super friendly, and the room was comfy. I recommend visiting the local trails and nearby attractions-you won't regret it!

We struggled to find parking on Saturday night, a bit inconvenient.

Clean, warm room with comfy bed. Kitchen closed early, so no late meal after a long drive. Overall nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Great location for walking trails nearby.

The stay was fine for a quick overnight stop while exploring the lovely area, with great options for walking nearby. The breakfast service was top-notch and really tasty, which was a nice way to start the day. Although the room felt a bit small, it was cosy and quiet, making for a restful night's sleep. The staff was quick to assist us with any needs, enhancing our experience overall.

I had a good overnight stay, enjoying a cosy atmosphere and really good service from the staff. The room was comfortable with fine views, and the surrounding countryside provided a peaceful backdrop. Breakfast was a treat, with plenty of hearty options to choose from. The only downside was the early kitchen closing time, which limited dining options for late arrivals.

We had a lovely one-night stay in a cozy king room, enjoying some good food and relaxing by the picnic table outside. The breakfast was made to order and the atmosphere was super cute, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The only hiccup was the room being a tad chilly, but the oil radiator did the trick! 😊
